Great outdoor seating at social distancing guidelines. Gluten free and vegetarian options like vegetable omelette.

The waitstaff is wonderful and the food is amazing!

Nice place for good tasting food! Portions are large and served hot and fresh Largest pancakes ever! Get the real maple syrup for a true Vermont breakfast.

Food was plentiful and very good for a small restaurant. Only fault was the air conditioner was turned up too high.

This is a great place to grab a breakfast or lunch. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere, and a personal charm to it. The food has never disappointed either.

Green Mountain Cafe is an excellent choice for a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. We normally go for breakfast which is fantastic and inexpensive, however we have also gone for lunch and dinner. Food from here is never a let down. Their dinner specials are always great and the people are super nice.

Food tasted like paint! Come to find out it was actual paint on the bacon. At least that's what an employee I know who works there told me. Can't believe they served that food knowing it was contaminated! I will never ever eat there again!!!!

Extremely delicious food for a surprisingly low cost. I've never been disappointed and the food is always consistent in quality.

All of our experiences are different on this side of the curve. This was just a few days into their outside seating, so with the wind it was tough. The wait staff was great and helpful.Food wise, it was above average. The sausages and steak was good. The pancakes were ok, needed some crunch. Eggs and home fries were very good. Hashbrowns were tasteless though...All in all I recommend and will return!

I've been coming here for years , still can't finish all of it lol . For just under $20 😁The waitstaff is great the chefs do a great job. I've never had a steak or Burger that wasn't the way I liked it.

I have made two trips now, one for late lunch, one for breakfast. They only do dinner Wednesday thru Saturday, I believe. I had the black and blue burger, served with coleslaw and onion petals. The burger was cooked exactly to my specifications and had lots of blue cheese on it, the onion petals were perfectly delicious, the coleslaw fresh and tasty, not too overdone with mayo. For breakfast, I had an omelet with home fries. all freshly cooked, and well filled with my choice of fillings. Both times I had hot tea and the waitresses checked up to see if I wanted refills. All in the the waitress service is excellent, a great combination of friendliness, politeness, and attentiveness. The pancakes were large (seen on another plate). I heartily recommend this establishment for a very tasty, filling meal at a very reasonable price!

So we are or were regular customers on the weekends for breakfast.. But since the owner is not around anymore and the short little waitress is not there to keep things moving it has gone downhill big time. Are last 3 Sundays there / as we gave it a few more trys thinking it was just a fluke. But no are orders were screwed up and we made sure to tell them . They did correct it . This place used to be good. Time for a new place.

I love the look of this place, very old fashions and comfy. The food is great here but a little slow. It defilenty makes up that in the portion size and freshness of the food. Higly recommend getting the bacon egg and toast plate from the breakfast menu.

The breakfast was very good there was so much of it. The waitress was exceptional--wish I remembered her name.

Reflecting on a cross country trip last summer, a couple places where we ate, stood out. We had spent the night at the Cadillac Motel (adjacent to Green Mountain Cafe) and had considered going to the center of town for breakfast, but wandered over to the Green Mountain Cafe and were pleased that we did. We ordered breakfast and always like to have pancakes on the side. Whoa! Pancakes here are not a side; they are huge. Our waitperson warned us they were big when we wanted to add two or three to our regular order, but we've heard that before. We didn't anticipate they would be so big (and delicious by the way), because they were so reasonably priced.We ate as much as we could before heading to Montreal where we had hoped to enjoy a meal as well; we spent the afternoon in Montreal, but were so sated that we didn't even think about eating.
